With WA day coming in the next week, it will take the focus for many WAFL fans. With a huge 3rd vs 4th showcasing match-up taking place at 1:10 pm excitement will be maintained with West Perth taking on the firing East Perth.
The 3rd place WAFL team South Fremantle is looking to bounce back after a disappointing 44-point loss to last years, Grand Finalists Peel Thunder. Compared to East Fremantle who are in high spirits after claiming a 4-point victory against the lowly Perth Demons.
Mid-season draft prospect Brynn Teakle will be looking to showcase more of his talents for potential suitors against a below average ruck team in South Freo. Former Eagle, Isiah Winder will attempt to set the stage alight after collecting 32 disposals and kicking 2 goals.
West Perth will be looking to get back on track after a close lose to the fifth placed Swan Districts. Luke Meadows impressed again collecting 25 touches and former West Coast player Connor West also collected 24 possessions.
East Perth will be surging for their third victory in a row after convincingly beating Subiaco by 24 points. The Royals will be seeking a better performance from last year’s Sandover medallist Hamish Brayshaw, who only collected 17 possessions and claiming three tackles. Former Docker, Mitch Crowden performed quite well also getting 19 touches and getting a game high 4 tackles.
Both matches will be on WA day with bouncedown at 1:10 pm East Fremantle vs South Fremantle at Fremantle Community Bank oval. West Perth vs East Perth will take place at 2:30pm at Pentanet Stadium.
